Welcome to Le Cateau from our Head Pupils

Hello and welcome to Le Cateau Primary School. Our names are Lewis, Mabel, Isla and Jacob and we will be telling you how fantastic Le Cateau Primary School is, and why your child/children should come to this school.

I have been at Le Cateau School for nearly 3 years. What I love abut Le Cateau school is that everyone is kind, friendly and the teachers have played a big part in helping my confidence. Becoming Head Boy allows me to help others and to show being kid and helpful is something to be proud of.

I have been a pupil at Le Cateau Primary School since FS2, it is an honour to be chosen as one of your new head pupils. What I love about our school is how welcoming everyone is, no matter how long they have been at Le Cateau Primary School. The teachers always make learning exciting and there is always something fun to look forward to, like our amazing outdoor areas and clubs. To me being a head pupil means being a voice for my classmates, setting a great example of the Le Cateau way and helping make our school an even happier place for everyone.

I have been at Le Cateau School for ten months. I am very happy that I am head pupil because it shows that I haven’t just been good, I have reached standards and used our values. I’ve loved the fun ways to learn and the animals helped us to learn because now we’ve learned more facts. All the teachers are nice and it makes me excited to go back on the weekends. I also love the Retreat, I do jobs like get the eggs, feed the goats, clean the goats and sometimes I get the tomatoes. This doesn’t just give us the traditional way to learn but also a fun way. Thank you for this role.

Hi, I’m Jacob Briddon. I have been at Le Cateau Primary for five years now. It is a pleasure being Head Pupil! What I like being in Le Cateau School is that everyone makes people feel like they are included and that they are meant to be there. The teachers are always planning great lessons, maybe you can’t keep going because your hands hurt…. But the teachers will push you to preserver and keep trying! My journey started five years ago and I have been through years 2,3,4,5,6 and ever since then I’ve always wanted to become Head Pupil. I am very happy as if there’s a bomb in me and exploded with joy!! I will also be excited to work alongside Mr Mottram and the team to make it the best I can possibly be!
