eSafety

At Le Cateau we are committed to working with pupils, parents and the whole school community to safeguard children in the digital world. ESafety is the topic for assemblies, lessons and special days throughout the year.

The children are taught about good online behaviours and how to protect themselves and their information whilst using the internet.

CEOP (The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) delivers service dedicated to tackling the abuse and exploitation of children in the real and ‘e’ world.  By clicking on the button, young people and parents can get advice on a range of issues such as viruses, hacking and dealing with bullying online.

The Think U Know website has developed a Cyber Café. Visit this if you need any more information about staying safe online while using emails, chat areas, mobiles or other new technologies.
